Today it’s Alfie.

Alfie hangs out with me every Monday and Tuesday, so he appears in the sketches relatively frequently.

He is very sketchable, and sleeps in a range of positions, each of them more adorable than the last. He’s the kind of dog you want to wake up and tell him how cute he is. That said, I’m not sure he’s the kind of dog to appreciate too much of that behaviour, so I refrain.

This Alfie portrait, however, is of him awake. It was from this rather rubbish photo.The best thing about this photo was that I didn’t have to work too hard to obscure Alfie’s phone number on his dog tag. But the silhouette’s good, and that’s enough.
